Gibrann Morgado

Gibrann Morgado is an OSINT, remote sensing systems specialist and artist based in Mexico City. He is also a software engineer. He studied Complexity Science and Fine Arts, but moves across different disciplines.

His work has been exhibited in the United Kingdom, China, Turkey, Germany, United States, Brazil, France and Mexico.

He has been invited to give lectures and conferences at Harvard University (2025), MIT (2016, 2018), Carnegie Mellon University (2016), Tecnologico de Monterrey (2023), 1933 Shanghai (2016) and other institutional and independent spaces.

In 2024 he won the Global Azure´s Hackathon “Innovation Challenge” organised by Microsoft, one of the most prestigious tech competitions, after building an observability system to evaluate AI models biases, hallucinations and performance. That project won out over the U.S. Coast Guard in that hackathon.

Also he has been invited to collaborate as intel adviser in several public and private initiatives. Invited by the Mexican Senate in 2025 to be an advisor in strategy & infrastructure sovereignty.
